Danielle Wannamaker
Registered Kinesiologist (R.Kin)

Danielle has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, with Honors in Kinesiology (BHSc.Kin) from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT). During her time at UOIT, she was able to work and travel with two Durham Colleges sports teams doing their pre and post-practice and game therapy. Since then she has become a Register Kinesiologist and a member in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario and continues to pursue her career in kinesiology. While pursuing her career Danielle still finds time to play competitive volleyball and carry out her own physically active lifestyle.

Danielle has been a part of our team at Stouffville Physiotherapy Clinic since 2015, providing exercise prescriptions and education about exercises to patients for their rehabilitation needs. Within those years she has experience working with a diverse population of individuals ranging in age from 4 years old to 95 years old. Along with different age groups, she has experience with a wide range of conditions such as low back pain and orthopedic surgeries i.e Total knees, total hips, and rotator cuff repairs.

With all of her capabilities, in combination with her passion for rehabilitation and improving overall health, she will make your experience safe, beneficial, and most importantly enjoyable.


Bhoomi Patel, MPT
Resident PT

Bhoomi graduated with Bachelor’s and Master’s in physiotherapy from Gujarat University, India. She is a versatile, result-oriented therapist with 6 years of experience as a licensed therapist in Canada and India. She is registered with the College of Ontario as a Resident physiotherapist, known for her strong assessment skills, manual therapy techniques and achieving real results with patients in a timely manner. She enjoys treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal, soft tissue and myofascial conditions.

She has a true passion for treating shoulder/knee pain due to ergonomic and back/neck postural issues. She also enjoys treating many acute and chronic pains in all age groups, activity-induced injuries, cervicogenic headaches, foot and hand conditions and post-surgery rehab.

During treatment sessions with her, you can expect a combination of tissue release, manual therapy (hands-on treatment), modalities and an individualized exercise plan, with education and home exercise program to prevent recurrences. Her goal is to make you comfortable and confident in her ability to treat your condition and help you get back to your ultimate self.


Krishna
Resident PT

Krishna is a Resident PT in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She has worked in outpatient settings, hospitals, and long-term care homes for almost 5 years. Her area of interest in physiotherapy practice includes musculoskeletal and sports injuries, post operative rehabilitation and back injuries.

Krishna loves to interact with people of all ages, from children to older adults. She provides highest level of care to each and every patient and looks forward to helping them in achieving their goals and an overall well-being. She takes the time to get to know each patient through a thorough assessment and has a patient- centered approach for the treatment. In her treatment sessions she uses a combination of hands-on techniques, exercise therapy and modalities.

In her free time she likes to spend time with her family and friends and go for hiking.


Hajar (Samira) Moravveji
Physiotherapist

Samira is a passionate, skilled and caring Physiotherapist who has both the BSc in Physiotherapy and the Master’s degree in Sport physiotherapy. She has worked in outpatient clinics and hospital settings for more than ten years, accumulating experience in the treatment of a wide variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

Samira prides herself on providing patient-centered care and ensures a specific recovery program is designed for her patients. Using a combination of manual, exercise-based therapy and modalities her approach is to reduce pain while improving stability, strength and flexibility. As a specialist at Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapist, Samira enjoys treating all injuries to restore health by advanced therapies.

In her spare time, Samira enjoys spending time with her family and keeping fit. She has sporting interests in swimming and badminton.
